  • What do I do before and after Lash Extensions?
Before: Please come to your appointment fresh faced and eye make-up free. No mascara, no liner, no eye shadow. Bare lids and lashes! Since waterproof mascara and lash glue/strips can leave a residue that can prevent extensions from adhering correctly, try not to use 2-3 days prior to your appointment. Wear contact lenses? Please remove before appointment - your eyes can get dry having them shut the duration of the service. After: Do not use oil based products around the eyes and keep your fingers away from your lashes - no picking! You can start cleansing your lashes the day you get them done. Adhesive and bonders have come along way ladies and gents! You no longer have to wait 24-48 hrs to get them wet with water and clean them. Although, with that being said, you do want to stay clear of steam/saunas/excessive sweating, etc. Live your life but just keep your lashes in mind when doing certain activities! As for steps to take in the aftercare of your lashes, treat them like a self care investment. This is a biweekly service so please take care of your lash extensions, so that the state of your natural lashes stay in great shape. You want to 1. Wash your lashes at least every other day, if not every day with lash foam cleanser 2. Brush them daily with the wand that is provided in your aftercare bag. AFTER CARE BAGS CAN BE PURCHASED FOR $15. Cleanser is $10, Wand & Cleansing Brush are $2 each. I will go over after care further during your service. Any questions? Please reach out!
  • How do I take care of my Henna Brows?
Your brows will fade If your brows look too dark, don’t worry – it will fade. You actually want your brows to look darker in the beginning - the henna will last longer that way. The initial darkness will only last a few days and will get a little closer to the right color every time you cleanse your face. Keep them dry Avoid getting your brows wet for 12 hours after having them stained. Cleanse around the brows with a gentle products instead - I recommend a makeup wipe or wash cloth for a more precise cleanse. Giving the henna longer to settle is a great way to make your brow experience last longer. Avoid oil based products Check that your cleanser/eye makeup remover isn’t oil-based. Oil strips the tint from your brows, which means you’ll have to return to the studio sooner than you’d like. Swap for gel or cream based cleansers: they’re nice and gentle and will save you time and money in the long run.
  • What is Brow Lamination?
Brow Lamination also called brow sculpt or brow lift is a semi-permanent procedure that softens and straightens the hair follicle using a chemical solution. The goal is to get the hair to lie very flat and straight by removing any curls, kinks or other texture that your natural brow may have, with a 3 step process. 1. Perming solution 2. Neutralizing cream 3. Regenerating balm. Lamination re-shapes the hair into a more defined, lifted, fuller looking brow. Last up to six - eight weeks. Taking breaks in between treatments are recommended due to brow hair getting very dry and/or damaged if done too often. After care is given at the end of service. You will want to keep the brows hydrated with the castor oil provided.
  • What are Ombre Powder Brows?
How to book? You can book online! This service will be under the Brow category and you can select Ombre Powder Brows or the Touch-up. How much is the service? $375 with $50 deposit. Touch-up starts at $75 and price varies depending on how long it's been since your last powder brow service. Does it hurt? There's mixed reviews on pain. Everyone has a different level of sensitivity, so topical anesthetics are applied during the treatment to alleviate any sensation or discomfort. Some clients naturally feel one brow sorer than the other. You will hear a scratch noise/sensation throughout. Is it safe? Absolutely. All supplies are disposable. Will I be swollen? You won't be swollen, you just might have slightly red skin around eyebrows, but this would last about a day. Will I need a touch-up? All results will vary per person depending on their: skin, blood type, lifestyle existing hair, bone structure, face shape, any medications taken, the amount of times the area had been worked on and aftercare. I cannot guarantee successful results on 100% of my clients because everyone's skin takes the pigments differently to permanent makeup, using a pencil or powder may still be needed. In order to insure the best outcome we recommend a second session within 1-3 months after your initial appointment to achieve the desired result. How often do I need a touchup? In order to keep your eyebrow tattoo results looking fresh, I recommend a touch up every year. How long does it last? It will last as long as it's maintained. How long brows last will vary depending on your skin type by how well your skin takes in pigment during the session and how dark you are willing to go depending on the scenario. After touch-up, brows are expected to last from 1-3 years depending on the shade of choice you prefer, skin retention, time in the sun and daily skin routines (more exfoliating products, faster the fade). Why do I need a touch-up if it's semi-permanent? Because color is implanted in the facial area where there tends to be more fluid circulation than other parts of the body. Your face sees the most wear of any other part of your body- exposure to the sun, food, facial products, the list goes on and on. All of these things cause permanent color to fade, this is why you need a touch up. How long does it take? The procedure takes roughly about 3 hours. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Please allow a solid 4 hour window for your appointment.
  • What do I do before and after my Bikini/Brazilian Wax?
Before: Make sure your hair is long enough to remove completely from the roots – it should be at least ¼ inch (length of a grain of rice). If you’ve shaved the area within the last few weeks it might take a couple of waxes to get your hair into a cycle of growth that allows the most effective wax finish. Start exfoliating the area a few days before your appointment to prep the skin and hair for your wax. After: Avoid heavy exercise and sexual intercourse at least 24 hours after being waxed. The follicles are open and prone to infection – you can use an antibacterial soap the first shower after your wax– Dial is a great one to use and an affordable option. Avoid tight clothing after waxing. Tight clothing may cause irritation and ingrown hairs. You can use a tea tree oil and/or witch hazel product to apply to the area for the anti-bacterial properties they have, if bumps/ingrowns start to appear. It is recommended that your waxing treatments are scheduled every 4-6 weeks; however, this varies for everyone First-time or occasional waxes will likely notice some new hair growth within 2-3 weeks due to the naturally staggered hair growth cycle. Until your next wax: Exfoliate – after at least 24 hrs. use a soft brush or exfoliating glove to gently buff the area every 2-3 days to avoid those stubborn ingrown hairs and to maintain that smooth feeling after waxing Moisturize – keep your skin hydrated and nourished Don’t shave – this distorts the hair growth cycle Keep hair follicles clean by showering immediately after exercise
  • What is a Lash Lift?
A lash lift is a perm for your lashes that creates a natural curl and lift. You can get a tint after the lift for a darker, thicker looking lash. Think lash curler and mascara but without the hassle of doing it every day. A rod is placed on your eyelid with a professional grade glue that is water soluble and will come off easily at the end of the service. Once the rods are in place, your natural lashes will be brushed and curled over the rod with the same glue. A lifting solution is applied, once removed, a neutralizing cream is applied and then tint if you chose to get that as well. Service duration is 60 min A lift last up to four - six weeks
